The short story:

The long story:

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager our Night Auditors/Guest Services Agents can make positive impacts throughout the hotel operation by ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience each time they stay. Successful Night Auditors demonstrate initiative, maintain productivity with minimal supervision and enjoy being the first and last impression our guests have of the resort. Accepting applications for Full Time Auditor also Part Time Auditor/Part Time Front Desk.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Providing personalized service to relevant stakeholders, including owners, employees and guests to ensure delivery of exceptional resort experiences

  • Warmly welcoming and efficiently checking in/out all guests staying with the resort

  • Upholding quality standards for the front office, including verifying reservations and accounts for completeness, ensuring special billing instructions are noted, collecting methods of payments in accordance with legislation and accurately processing guest accounts/system resets for the day

  • Efficiently and professionally respond to all incoming communications including in-person, email and telephone. Providing accurate information about hotel services, room types/rate and amenities as well as local events and activities

  • Accurately processing guest reservations, by phone, in person and/or group coordinators

  • Utilizing de-escalation techniques and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve guest issues

  • Promoting safety awareness by attending training in, and following safe work procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions, practices or injuries and following reporting protocols

  • Assisting with cost control management by recommending events and ideas to reduce costs and/or increase revenue potential

  • Communicating with other team members and other departments to coordinate exceptional guest service; actively recording and escalating concerns to the relevant leader when needed

  • Conducting other relevant duties and supporting the fabulous team at The Beach Club Resort!

The “must haves”:

  • Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a diverse range of stakeholders

  • A positive, open attitude with an aptitude for relationship management

  • 1+ years of delivering customer service, being part of a team and working the overnight shift

  • Desire for work/life balance through working flexible team schedules; ability to work overnight shifts is required. Personal motivation to manage time/tasks and ensure positive attitudes are maintained while under pressure

  • Physical ability to regularly and continually lift up to 20lbs, occasionally lift up to 50lbs, as well as stand, and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours

  • Proficient knowledge of Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet to complete administrative tasks

The “nice to haves”:

  • 1 year+ experience in hotel guest services operations

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Hotel/Restaurant Management

  • Working knowledge of telephone switchboards as well as Property Management systems
