About the role

Duties

  • Serve ice cream to customers, providing friendly and efficient service.
  • Handle transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
  • Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

With the Easter weekend fast approaching we are pleased to announce that we are as close to normal at the restaurant as we have been since the beginning of the pandemic.

This year we are open regular hours from 11:00am – 10:00pm for the entire Easter weekend. The dining room closes at 9:00pm, however take-out is available until 10:00pm. We do not accept reservations, it is first come first serve. We are usually busiest from 3:00pm to 8:00pm so coming outside of this time slot will generally mean less wait time.

We are taking a very limited amount of pre-orders for Good Friday, but you must call and pay ahead. Pre- orders for Good Friday will be accepted on Wednesday, April 13 and Thursday April 14, starting at 10:00am each morning.
