Job Purpose
The job purpose of a Technical Support Specialist is to provide assistance and solutions to users experiencing technical, software, or hardware issues. Their primary role is to ensure smooth operation of IT systems and to help end users troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently, thereby minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.

Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for key customer accounts, managing application inquiries, coordinating quotations and orders, and ensuring proactive follow-up to deliver exceptional customer experience.

Evaluate new and existing mechanical seal applications and propose technical solutions.

Coordinate and respond to RFQs & ENQs in collaboration with the commercial and technical teams

Prepare and review technical documentation, including observation reports, and application proposals.

Create and revise seal designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks or Solid Edge.

Support field service activities, including troubleshooting, installation assistance, and failure
investigations.

Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, repair shop, sales, and procurement) to align priorities and ensure efficient workflow. Assist with order processing, pricing support, and sourcing activities to meet customer and project timelines.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts by helping develop procedures, technical training content, and process documentation.
