Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually
Are you a highly analytical professional with a passion for regulatory reporting, compliance, and sustainability? RFNOW Inc. is seeking a Senior Reporting Analyst, Regulatory and Compliance to support our high-impact, federally funded broadband infrastructure project. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining compliance with government funding agreements, banking covenants, and environmental reporting obligations.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-driven environment, understands the intricacies of public funding and financial agreements, and is passionate about ESG and sustainability initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
Regulatory & Government Funding Reporting
- Prepare and submit detailed reports to government agencies (e.g., ISED, Universal Broadband Fund).
- Track and validate key project milestones, expenditures, and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure audit readiness.
Banking & Financial Agreement Compliance
- Monitor compliance with loan covenants and reporting conditions tied to credit facilities.
- Work closely with finance, legal, and construction teams to fulfill lender reporting obligations.
- Create dashboards, variance analyses, and tailored reports for stakeholders and institutions.
Environmental & Carbon Emissions Reporting
- Collect and analyze data related to carbon emissions and environmental commitments.
- Support ESG disclosures and sustainability scorecard development in alignment with frameworks like GHG Protocol and TCFD.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure accurate environmental impact tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with project management, construction, sustainability, and finance teams.
- Assist during audits and regulatory inspections by compiling necessary documentation and reports.
- Contribute to enhancements in reporting tools, compliance systems, and data visualization.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Public Policy, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in regulatory, financial, or ESG reporting (telecom/infrastructure/utility sectors preferred).
- Working knowledge of Canadian government funding programs and compliance expectations.
- Familiarity with banking agreements, loan covenants, and financial documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience supporting federally funded infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of carbon accounting methodologies and sustainability frameworks.
- Bilingual in English and French.
