Are you seeking a fulfilling job where you can be part of a dedicated team of nurses and office staff, making a meaningful difference with your time? We are currently looking for a casual Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Prince George team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee our WorkSafe and private clients, as well as mentor our Health Care Workers in the field.
Areas where we are looking for a casual LPN/RN: Fort St. John/Taylor, BC
Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-home client assessments and monitoring client progress.
- Building and nurturing relationships with clients and community partners.
- Mentoring and providing support to our field employees.
- Developing and maintaining programs and education aligned with Classic LifeCare's culture.
- Collaborating with the Service Team to ensure the delivery of exceptional person-centered care services.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the BCCNM, along with up-to-date CPR certification.
- WorkSafe experience is an asset but not required.
- Wound care experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- People and community-focused mindset.
- Willingness to contribute to the development of services based on your unique strengths and interests.
- Availability for 4-8 hours per week, with flexible days and times.
- Located around or willing to travel to the Fort St. John/Taylor, BC area.
Compensation: $35.00 to $39.00 per hour
Mileage and travel time compensation from the office to clients and between clients. Provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
