About the role
The Calgary Winter Club is Calgary’s premier private family Club, situated in northwest Calgary on the edge of Nose Hill Park. The CWC offers an outstanding employee experience; we are firm believers that everyone should enjoy their work and have a successful work-life balance.
We are looking to fill a part time position in our Housekeeping department for a Porter. We need somebody consistent to work all Saturdays and Sundays evenings from 3 - 11pm and able to work on your own without much guidance or direction. Housekeeping experience is required.
This position can be fast paced at times, you must be able to multitask, work around many adults, children and answer radio calls.
Responsibilities:
· Perform Janitorial duties in an assigned work area; empty and clean refuse containers, dust, vacuum/mop floors, wipe tables, chairs and benches. Disinfect kid zone play area/structure
· Assist with laundry duties; including processing both clean and dirty linen
· Maintain the cleanliness of washrooms around the club
· Assist with other areas around the club as needed
What you will need:
· Takes initiative and ownership of task
· Solutions oriented and proactive in nature
· Excellent customer service skills
· Previous Hotel/Commercial Housekeeping experience required
