Job Title: Residential Garage Door Installer

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, K1G 3N4

Job type: Full-time

About the Role:

As the Residential Garage Door Installer, you will work closely in partnership with the management and administration teams to fulfill installation requirements for residential clients. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm. A comprehensive benefits package is also included. If you can also do flashing/cladding this is an asset. Company truck, power tools, gas card and cell phone provided by Door Doctor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install residential garage doors and electric operators

• Review the operation and maintenance of newly installed systems with customers

• Complete all required installation documentation and reports accurately

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with management and administrative teams to meet installation requirements

• Contribute as a key member of a client-focused team, committed to delivering excellent service

• Performs all work in a company provided truck.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience working as a Residential Garage Door Installer.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven experience as a Lead Installation Technician for residential overhead doors and operator systems

• Proficient with hand and power tools.

• Valid driver’s license is a requirement.

• Flexible and able to work overtime when required.

• Ability to flash/clad garage door frames is an asset.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• 7:30 am to 5 pm
