Full-Time House Person – Shared Staff Housing Available!
Crystal Lodge is excited to welcome a full-time House Person to our dynamic and supportive Housekeeping team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
As a House Person, you'll play an essential part in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests have come to expect. While your primary focus will be on Housekeeping operations, you’ll also collaborate with our Maintenance and Front Desk teams to ensure the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keep all common areas (inside and outside) the hotel clean, professional, and guest-ready at all times.
- Manage waste removal and disposal, keeping bins and garbage areas clean and orderly.
- Support stock management by regularly checking supplies and reporting shortages to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager/ Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Assist with laundry tasks, including moving clean and used linens between departments.
- Identify and report any safety hazards, taking appropriate action where safe to do so.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests as directed by various departments.
- Build positive connections with guests, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an asset - but not required. We’re happy to train the right candidate!
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Physical fitness and the ability to spend extended periods on your feet and on the move throughout the hotel.
