Join our Team as a Material Flow Operator!

Are you an experienced forklift operator with a passion for precision, safety, and teamwork? We’re hiring a Material Flow Operator to support our fast-paced production and warehouse operations. You'll play a critical role in ensuring materials move smoothly and safely across departments

Location: 1 Warman Road

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Job Summary:

The Material Flow Operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of materials between cross-functional teams, in adherence to all safety protocols and workplace policies. This role plays a key part in maintaining an organized, productive environment, supporting production and warehouse operations, and contributing to overall team success.

Job Duties:

  • Meet customer’s packaging requirements
  • Stage materials for the Production, Formulation, and Warehouse teams
  • Safely Store materials for the Production, Formulation, and Warehouse teams
  • Maintain internal material flow with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet internal operational needs
  • Ensure adherence to FIFO (First in, First Out) inventory standards
  • Identify and segregate damaged or defective products accordingly
  • Oversee the disposal processes and manage materials in the on-site quarantine/hold area
  • Perform inventory accuracy checks, including end of campaign counts, and random audits
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse through daily housekeeping habits
  • Ensure compliance with AWSA and Crop Life Protocols
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Required Knowledge:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols at all times
  • Collaborative team player focused on continuous improvement and process optimization
  • Ability to follow instruction from Lead Hands and Manager
  • Minimum 2 years’ forklift operation experience required
  • Minimum 2 years’ warehousing experience required
  • Experience with systems and handheld scanners preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience with TDG, AWSA, and Crop Life standards is an asset

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repetitively
  • Manual dexterity to work on various production lines
  • Fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Overtime as required
  • Able to identify and report any health and safety issues
