Job Overview:
Global X Canada is seeking a strategic and analytical Product Marketing leader with technical fluency in investment products (ETFs) to join our team. Reporting to the Head and EVP of Marketing, the VP of Product and Channel Marketing will lead the strategic development and execution of initiatives across Global X Canada’s 140+ ETF lineup.
This role is responsible for driving product positioning, go-to-market strategies, webinar and partnership programs that resonate with financial advisors, retail and institutional investors. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep ETF industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a passion for translating complex investment concepts into compelling narratives.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications
- Define and champion a clear vision for the Product Marketing function, aligning initiatives with strategic business goals and AUM growth targets.
- Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new fund launches, including the creation of compelling pitch decks across product ranges.
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and continuously enhance the effectiveness and differentiation of our product marketing efforts.
Sales Enablement
- Create comprehensive internal playbooks and toolkits that empower the sales team to articulate product value propositions aligned with advisor priorities.
- Develop engaging webinar programs for Global X and alongside third-party partners, creating presentations that contextualize Global X ETFs within broader market narratives.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of product marketing collateral—including one-pagers, brochures, and presentations—ensuring materials are current, impactful, and competitively positioned.
Website & Automation
- Drive strategic decisions on ETF positioning across Global X Canada and BetaPro.ca, ensuring effective product representation as the subject matter expert.
- Manage relationships and contracts with key third-party vendors (e.g., Fundata, Solactive), serving as a primary point of contact.
- Collaborate with the Digital Innovation team to optimize data integration and support automation initiatives that enhance marketing efficiency and scalability.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor a growing team, currently managing one direct report with a mandate to expand the team in alignment with business needs.
- Serve as a key member of the Marketing Leadership team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous development.
Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in financial services marketing, with a focus on ETFs or asset management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, or related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of fund structures (ETFs, mutual funds) and the Canadian ETF competitive landscape.
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, or other financial data platforms.
- Knowledge of Canadian investment regulations (NI 81-102, 81-106).
- Experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with marketing, sales product, investment and compliance teams.
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience with data automation tools and product collateral production.
- Experience working with YCharts.
- Exposure to content management systems (CMS) or fund reporting software.
