$85,000 - $90,000 annually depending on skill and experience
Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.

Basic Qualifications for Entry-Level:
High School Diploma or GED AND
- Four years of industry-related experience OR
- A bachelor’s degree with some industry-related knowledge
- Travel 0 – 25%
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills required
- General PC skills required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision
- Current valid Driver’s License may be required
- Ability to read and interpret required manuals, prints and schematics preferred

We are there from the engineered design, through manufacturing and final assembly, with technical sales support and solution-driven direct sales, with forward-thinking marketing and R&D, and there for the life of the equipment with troubleshooting and repair, parts, and product support.
As a Service Center Supervisor, your responsibilities include ensuring safety in everything we do by understanding and adhering to Altec and local safety and environmental requirements, providing daily leadership for the shop technicians, fostering a team spirit in line with Altec Values to maintain a successful Service Group, and championing and implementing process improvements, including work instructions and standards.

Responsibilities
- Assist with third-party vendor coordination as needed.
- Assist with inventory control and management processes.
- Understand and pre-inspect incoming work orders, assign work orders to appropriate shop technicians based on skill and workload, and ensure all associated costs are accurately captured.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and meets or exceeds customer requirements and expectations.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and legible documentation of repairs and all associated forms are completed by technicians.
- Develop product knowledge to effectively assist technicians with troubleshooting and repair procedures.
- Assess training needs of all technicians, ensuring all necessary training for job performance and promotion is identified and pursued.
- Communicate effectively with internal support teams (e.g., parts, engineering) to ensure customer expectations are met and necessary materials are available in a timely manner.
- Ensure the facilities are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
- Assist with the staffing process, including scheduling technicians and identifying hiring needs to ensure staffing levels are sufficient to meet customer demand.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership.
