7.5 hours per shift (subject to change)
WAGE RANGE:
Scale Minimum Maximum
CUPE12 $27.18/hr $28.95/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The receiving, storing, rotating, counting, transporting, resupplying, maintaining and issuing of supplies while accurately documenting activities as per set policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 education
- Minimum 1 year experience in materials management in a medical stores or warehouse/shipping and receiving environment. Experience within the last three years
- Knowledge of materials management functions in a warehouse environment
- Ability to ship, receive, count, pick and pack orders with speed and accuracy
- Proficiency in oral and written communications in English
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ablility to work independently and as part of a team
- Moderate computer skills and ablility to effectively operate materials management software
- Provision of his/her own safety footwear as per Safety Policies
- Electric Pallet Jack License
PREFERRED:

Experience with Meditech Materials Management software or other MMIS/ERP/MRP Materials Management systems

Materials Management certification/related course from an accredited college

Previous experience in materials management in a hospital stores environment

Understanding of the complete supply chain cycle

Experience with a carousel system

Competency with Microsoft Windows, Office, Internet Explorer

Experience using mobile scanning devices
