Transdev Canada is hiring multiple Full-Time Local Drivers for our Kitimat location!
Your Role:
-
Operate crew buses proficiently.
-
Prioritize passenger safety throughout transit.
-
Perform timely fueling of the bus as needed.
-
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
-
Maintain effective communication with passengers, dispatchers, or fellow drivers via two-way radio systems when necessary.

Report any delays, mechanical issues, or accidents promptly.
-
Demonstrate vigilance in ensuring passenger safety and well-being during emergencies, including guiding them through evacuation procedures.

Uphold a strong commitment to safety, coupled with excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Your Profile:
-
You have a Class 1 or 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement.
-
You have 2 years minimum experience industrial site driving.
-
You have a clean driver's abstract.
-
Clean drug and alcohol test.
Your Location:
-
This is a full-time, unionized position based in Kitimat or Terrace.
-
The role requires you to reside locally in one of these areas.
-
The work schedule consists of 40 hours per week, following either a 5 days on/2 days off or 4 days on/3 days off rotation.

Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.
