Full-Time Facilities Supervisor- King Valley Golf Club
About the role
Facilities Supervisor - King Valley Golf Club
Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the buildings’ systems & the grounds of the property. This is a hands-on position required to interact with multiple operating departments and a key part of our guest service experience.
Requirements:
- Perform repairs to building interiors and exteriors, & grounds.
- Maintenance of the building including minor plumbing, HVAC, Laundry and electrical repair
- Maintain qualified outside contractors to make necessary repairs as required
- Upkeep of grounds and snow removal
- Supply ordering and inventory control
- Daily review and update of the deficiency list
- Assistance in event setup & tear-down
- Hire and scheduling of facility staff
- Work within budget guidelines
- Ensure the building is a safe, well maintained up to code work place (fire system checks, first aid supplies, and safety equipment etc.)
- Establish an annual preventative maintenance program for all operating equipment
- Set-up an annual maintenance program to address the deficiency list
- Seasonal set-up and storage of all outdoor equipment
- Oversee capital projects as required
- Perform cross-functional and other duties, as assigned and/or required.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of related experience in facility or property management
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, security, HVAC systems
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong administrative and organizational skills to manage competing priorities and balance multiple tasks
- Basic computer knowledge of MS Office, ability to work with reports, spreadsheets and various other documents
- Proven ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously
