Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and support to enhance the shopping experience. You will engage with customers, assist them in finding products, and ensure that our store remains inviting and well-stocked. Additionally, you will play a key role in boosting our store’s visibility through social media platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Instagram Ads, and by appearing in store promotional reels.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide personalized assistance.
- Demonstrate product knowledge by answering questions and providing information about features and benefits.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase items effectively.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking merchandise as needed.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries over the phone.
- Assist in managing the store’s online presence, including posting on Facebook Marketplace and running Instagram Ads.
- Participate in short promotional videos and reels to represent products and engage customers online.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service are essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with Facebook Marketplace and Instagram Ads is a strong asset.
- Comfortable appearing in front of the camera for social media reels and promotions.
