Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our location. This position requires a proactive approach to bag checks and overall safety management. The Guard will be responsible for bag checks in a friendly manner and ensuring a secure environment for both staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Bag checks at entry points.
- Report any suspicious behavior.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Respond promptly to established procedures.
- Collaborate with by-law enforcement as necessary to address site protocol incidents.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with questions while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Experience
- Previous experience in loss prevention or security roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance technology and CCTV operations is advantageous.
- Background in law enforcement is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective reporting and interaction with others.
