About the role
Home Instead is one of the largest in-home care providers in the world.
We are seeking an Administrative Generalist who will provide essential support to various operational functions through a broad range of administrative responsibilities. This role is key to maintaining workflow efficiency and ensuring coordination across departments, including acting as a liaison to the corporate head office. This position reports and takes directions from the Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Process client leads and opportunities using Salesforce
- Support Care Consultations through appointment setting and data entry
- Utilize WellSky**,** the client and Care Pro database, for record management and updates
- Assist with applicant processing, onboarding of new employees, and orientation coordination
- Support engagement initiatives for experienced Care Pros
- Assist with internal presentations and community relationship-building initiatives
- Serve as a liaison with the corporate head office to ensure clear communication and alignment on administrative matters
- Perform other administrative tasks assigned to support the Service Manager and team
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Post-secondary credentials in a related field
- One year of business-related experience (an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered)
- Knowledge of the Health Services System is a definite asset
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in both official languages is preferred
- Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established byThe Company(d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise)
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
- Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
- Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
- Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, quarterly, monthly and yearly work
- Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the franchise owner, office colleagues, clients, CAREPros and Community Parters
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must have the ability to operate office equipment
- Must be patient and congenial on the telephone
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel
- Must have the availability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Must have the ability to perform duties in a professional office setting
