Position Overview:
Reporting to the RCM Program Director, the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Analyst supports the management of the RCM Program, to enable CIBC Mellon to meet regulatory expectations set out in OSFI Guideline E-13.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned daily activities associated maintenance and upkeep of the RCM Program, including:
- Facilitate regulatory or business updates to the RCM Policy and associated procedures;
- Input Key Risk Indicators in the Risk Management Platform;
- Monitor, track and report on all aged compliance issues exceeding 30 days;
- Assist in preparing RCM reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer and other impacted stakeholders, including Senior Management and the Board of Directors; and
- Manage the regulatory reporting inventory attestation process on a semi-annual basis.
- Monitor the external regulatory environment, identifying applicable regulatory requirement changes while keeping the RCM content Library current.
- Conduct Volcker-related reviews.
- Maintain SharePoint site for Corporate Compliance, ensuring RCM records are maintained for required retention periods.
- Identify areas of enhancement with respect to the RCM Program, including opportunities for process efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Specific Knowledge & Skills (not preferred or an asset)

University degree

3-5 years’ experience in an RCM or compliance role within the financial services industry

Knowledge of OSFI Guideline E-13 and industry approaches to meeting regulatory expectations

Proficient technology skills (MS Office, Excel, SharePoint)
