About the role
TerraPro is seeking experienced Access Mat Building Contractors to support our growing production needs. Contractors will be responsible for assembling access mats using heavy lumber and power tools in a fast-paced shop environment. Contractors with their own tools are preferred, and compensation per mat will vary based on tool provision and experience.
Role Responsibilities
- Build and assemble access mats to production specifications
- Use power tools such as drills, impact guns, saws and nail guns
- Ensure. Mats meeting quality standards before final inspection
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Meet daily production targets and deadlines
- Follow all site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
Role Requirements
- Proven experience building access mats or working in a similar construction/industrial setting
- Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physically capable of repetitive heavy lifting and standing for long periods
