The expected annual pay range: $70,000-85,000

Purdys Chocolatier is looking for a full-time, permanent Allocations Analyst to join our 8330 Chester st Office in Vancouver, BC!
Job Overview: Retail Allocation Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of inventory to retail stores and e-commerce platforms. You will analyze sales data on all channels, inventory levels in the chain and warehouse, and trends to determine the best allocation of merchandise, ensuring that the right product is available at the right time and location to maximize sales and minimize inventory costs.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Execute allocation strategies to support sales plans, inventory turn, and margin goals
- Analyze sales trends, store performance, and inventory levels to inform allocation decisions and provide feedback to Demand team
- Collaborate with the demand, merchandising, and sales teams to forecast inventory needs
- Maintain, improve and develop allocation tools and reporting systems. Make recommendations on processes adjustments and enhancements
- Monitor in-season performance and recommend inventory transfers, consolidations, or production requests as needed in collaboration with the demand team
- Support new store openings and seasonal transitions with strategic inventory planning
- Conduct post-mortem analyses and propose actions to improve future allocation performance
You will be a good fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in retail planning, allocations, or inventory management preferred
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (using queries, pivot tables, etc.) and Power BI (creating measures and models)
- Experience with retail planning or ERP systems (e.g., JDA, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
