We are looking for exceptional Servers to join our team who can provide service excellence to our onboard guests and champion of our values and culture. Someone to help the delivery of food service excellence.
You will be traveling onboard the train, between Vancouver, BC and Banff/Jasper Alberta. While working onboard the train you will receive paid accommodations, and crew meals.

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive. This position requires the incumbent to periodically access an active railway area where impaired performance could result in a significant incident affecting the health and safety of guests, team members, the public, property or the environment.
Key Areas of Accountability
- Deliver world class service and life changing experiences for guests.
- Create an environment where guests feel welcomed, engaged, and valued by anticipating their needs, being attentive, and providing a high-quality guest experience.
- Resolve guest-related concerns by listening with empathy and provide timely resolution.
- Prepare and deliver the beverage, meal, and snack services per established standard operating procedures (Silver or Gold Leaf) in a positive, polished, and professional manner.
- Prepare coaches as required (pillows, blankets, galley set up, cart preparation and daily inventories)
- Collaboratively work in a team environment and consistently demonstrate strong time management skills.
- Clean and stock railcars, galleys, and washrooms to set standards at the end of each rail leg.
- Maintain correct inventory levels and reconcile as required at the end of each trip.
- High level of awareness for the health and safety of both guests and crew.
- Adhere to all RMs safety and security standards.
- Adhere to our policies and procedure for the donning(wearing), doffing(removal), and disposal of personal protective equipment (PPE) to reduce or prevent exposures to hazards and other health risks.
- Upholds sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, maintenance of galleys and other service areas.
Qualifications Education / Certifications / Knowledge
- Serving It Right (SIR) required
- Fluency in English language
- Proficiency in Mandarin, German, Spanish, and French considered an asset
Experience
- Service delivery in a full-dining (food and beverage), luxury/fine-dining establishment desired
Skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid serving and hosting skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at working in diverse teams

Work Environment
- Ability to work consecutive long days (10+ hours)

- Valid form of ID for domestic travel requirements (passport, driving license etc.)
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada for the duration of the operating season (April – October)
