About the role
A part of the Onyx-Fire family of companies, a leader in the Canadian fire protection service industry, Sprouse Fire & Safety, is growing and searching for a warehouse associate for our Calgary branch.
Responsibilities
- Accept delivered packages and ensure proper amount is inside.
- Unload merchandise.
- Responsible for receiving materials, unloading or unpacking it, determining correct division it needs to move to, and processing invoices
- Mark items with identifying codes, such as stock, or inventory control codes.
- Stock shelves with unpacked items.
- Ensure label is clear and visible.
- Prepare merchandise for shipment.
- Track special orders internally using Microsoft Excel.
- Ensure all orders are picked accurately for the following week's scheduled work.
- Communicate any orders with incomplete material to scheduling prior to the commencement of the week's work.
- Store warehouse materials in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Must have Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) experience
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Experience working in the construction services industry
- Valid G Driver’s License
