Job Type: Part-Time (Potential for Full-Time)

Located in the heart of Richmond Hill, Covernotes Coffee House is a cozy, community-driven café with a passion for high-quality coffee, fresh pastries, and creating a warm, welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors. We’re proud to operate from a beautiful historic building and serve as a local favourite for both caffeine lovers and book browsers alike.
About the Role:
We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable team members who are interested in building a long-term role with us. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves working with people, and brings positive energy to your team, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers with a friendly, upbeat attitude
- Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to café standards
- Assist with baking, food prep, and maintaining a clean workspace
- Operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately
- Restock supplies and help keep the café looking its best
- Work collaboratively with a small, tight-knit team
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in customer service, barista work, or baking is a strong asset
- Positive, passionate, and reliable team players
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask
- Must be available for a consistent schedule, with potential for increased hours
- Seeking individuals committed to long-term employment—not just seasonal work
