Our Arrow Project Services team is looking for experienced Mining Operations Supervisors for a project in Princeton at the Copper Mountain Mine .

As a Mining Operations Supervisor, you will coordinate/lead your crew and subcontractors to ensure your project is completed safely, on time, on budget and in accordance with the project requirements. You will organize equipment and labour to ensure efficient work progression from start to finish. Mentoring staff and maintaining site moral is also required of this position.
Other responsibilities include
- Ensuring labour, equipment, materials and sub-contractors are on site when necessary, in order to perform the work.
- Responsible for safety, quality and protecting the environment for the assigned work.
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to provide clear instructions to the crew.
- Maintaining daily records including crew and equipment time, material receiving, productions and summary of activity on site.
- Plan ahead and ensure materials and resources are in place ahead of the work.
- Comply with all rules and regulations, protocols and established metrics.
- Follow all workplace safety policies, compliance regulations, and participate in identifying hazards.
- Provide internal and external customer service excellence.
- The supervisor is expected to lead from the front lines which means directing the work and being with your crew at all times.
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience required.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence and reliable transportation required.
- Mine Supervisor Certificate required.
- Heavy Job Time Reporting experience an asset.
- Have a proficient knowledge of construction materials and supplies.
- Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Accountable and dependable.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (snow, rain, sub-freezing temps, heat, wind).
- Experience working with computers is an asset.
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing.
