Fall 2025 Sessional Teaching Opportunity - SCMA 453 LEC 01: Procurement Management

The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Fall 2025 SCMA 453 LEC 01 (Procurement Management) on Tuesday and Thursday 14:00-15:15. Classes in the Fall 2025 semester run from September 2 to December 5, 2025. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between December 9 and December 19, 2025, if applicable.

The calendar description of the course:

"An in-depth analysis of strategic procurement practices for competitive advantage, cost management, contractual negotiations and supplier management. Strategic implications of supply processes, outsourcing, and supplier relations are discussed."

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree (MBA, MSc, DBA or PhD) or work experience in a relevant field is required.
  • Previous post-secondary teaching experience is preferred.
