GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER I (Temporary, Part Time)

NATURE OF POSITION: Hiring one (1) Temporary, Part Time General Maintenance Worker I.

The position of the General Maintenance Worker I is available for the day-to-day operations of the Regional District facilities, services, and programs. The General Maintenance Worker I performs custodial duties, provides customer service and performs facility and equipment maintenance of a varied nature.

LOCATION: Canoe Valley Recreation Centre in Valemount, B.C. May be required to work at the Robson Valley Recreation Centre in McBride, B.C. occasionally.

RATE OF PAY: $22.77 per hour (January 1, 2024, rate)

START DATE: July 7, 2025

END DATE: August 31, 2025

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: As set out in the attached job description.

BENEFITS: In accordance with the Collective Agreement with CUPE Local 1699. This is a Union position.
