We are building a customer-focused, tech-enabled, and innovation-driven business that will scale rapidly through accretive M&A, organic growth, and greenfield expansion. What you'll do:

Prepare and maintain key Regional / Branch financial reports on a daily / weekly / monthly / annual basis (i.e. monthly P&L reporting, daily sales trending, daily headcount and hours reporting, monthly financial review call prep, etc.); compile any supplementary ad hoc reports as requested by the Region Vice President, RVP’s, VP Finance & other functional leaders

Analyze the historical operating expense trends and transactional details to identify cost savings opportunities

Partner with the regional teams to implement solutions to drive labor productivity and other savings at the branch level

Develop division-wide metrics (KPI’s) and benchmarking for key priorities and goals

Engage in the annual budgeting process to support the Divisional FP&A team and ensure budgets are accurate, consistent and efficiently developed across the division
What you'll bring:
-
Bachelor of Science degree in business, finance, statistics, or economics, MBA would be an asset
-
5+ years of experience working in financial planning & analysis and/or data analytics ideally in the building supplies industry
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required; an advanced understand of Excel Power Pivot, Power Query and DAX is required
-
Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards and analytics is preferred
-
Strong executive presence and the ability to be an effective communicator at all levels of the organization is required
-
Demonstrated success working in a demanding, high-performance environment with a team-oriented culture
-
Ability to be a collaborative business partner and cultivate strong cross-functional relationships
-
Strong critical thinking skills with experience in anticipating management’s potential questions and next steps
-
Ability to analyze large volumes of data, summarize in a clear and concise manner, and provide insightful analysis and commentary for senior management
-
Strong business acumen and strategic mindset required

Ability to travel across Canada up to 20%/quarterly or as needed

Bilingual in English and French is an asset
