By using state-of-the-art large language models and generative AI, we simplify complex insurance processes, improve decision-making, and enable personalised interactions for policyholders and insurers.

Job Summary You are a highly motivated and results-driven SaaS New Business Development Account Executive. You will be responsible for driving new business sales, developing key relationships and driving product value. You will aim to bring in new business by prospecting into specific industry regions. You will open up exciting opportunities with tremendous potential for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive prospecting for new business sales within the assigned territory through various channels, including follow-ups, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Perform comprehensive research to compile lists of potential clients.
  • Master our product offerings, effectively articulating their value proposition and benefits to key decision-makers.
  • Consistently meet or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Embrace travel opportunities within Canada and the USA to participate in Insurance trade shows and industry events, driving lead generation and product promotion.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to inform sales strategies.
  • Provide the sales manager with regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates.
  • Gather feedback from prospects and communicate it to the sales team to facilitate adjustments in the sales process, go-to-market strategy and/or product roadmap.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a lead generation / new business development role is required.

Refined Requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent lead generation or inside sales experience.
  • Comfortably handle a high volume of cold calls (25-50 outbound/day).
  • Possess strong listening skills and quick-thinking ability, capable of working both independently from home and collaboratively within a team.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Display keen attention to detail and adherence to defined processes.
  • Showcase solid time management skills.
  • Bring at least 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM/Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with the Insurance industry and understanding of SaaS solutions highly preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and passport.
  • French as a secondary language is an asset, though not mandatory.
  • P&C Insurance background is a great asset.
