Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our IT/Technology team. This role is ideal for someone looking to kickstart their career in project management within the technology. The Project Coordinator will support the IT/Technology team in planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of IT/technology projects from initiation to completion.
  • Support the project/program manager in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders and team members.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, project schedules, and status reports.
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Assist in identifying potential risks and issues and help in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute materials to participants.
  • Provide administrative support to the project management team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship or experience in project coordination or a related field is an advantage but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of IT/technology concepts and terminology.
