Banking Inbound Fraud Specialist (Call Centre)
Client : Canadian Bank (US Banking division)
Industry: Banking / Financial Services
Location: Downtown Toronto (hybrid)
Contract Length: 12 months to start (Possibility of Extension / Conversion to Permanent)
Pay Rate: $20-$25/hour [T4] OR $24-$30/hour [Incorporated]
Hours : 5 days of 8-hours shifts anytime between Monday to Friday, 8:00am–7:00pm CST, and Saturday, 8:00am–4:30pm CST.
Join a dynamic banking team as a US Banking Inbound Fraud Specialist! This position offers an opportunity to provide outstanding customer service while investigating fraud cases and supporting financial crime prevention efforts. You’ll handle high-volume inbound calls, resolve customer concerns, and help protect clients from financial risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle approximately 45 inbound calls per day from branches, contact centres, or customers.
- Investigate fraud-related cases and document detailed notes in the system.
- Support fraud detection processes by following standard operating procedures.
- Address and resolve customer issues efficiently.
Must-Have :
- 1-3 years of call centre experience.
- Strong phone communication skills.
- Comfortable working shifts including Mondays, Saturdays, and variable weekdays.
- Comfortable handling high call volumes and using case management systems.
Nice-to-Have:
- Banking or finance background.
- Knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements related to financial crimes.
- Familiarity with banking products, processes, and financial crime prevention.
- Previous fraud-related customer service experience.
