THE ROLE:

The Brand & Communications Coordinator plays a key role in executing marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen the ETRO Construction brand. This position involves collaborating across teams to coordinate and implement campaigns, content, and projects while bringing a mix of creativity and strategic thinking. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Here’s what you’ll get up to as a Brand & Communications Coordinator:

• Assist with production and assembly of marketing materials: coordinate assembly and production of proposals, presentations, and award submissions; write and/or edit content; design layout, graphics, resumes, etc;

• Ensure production schedules are met and the various aspects of proposals/presentations/awards are accurate and delivered on time.

• Create, update and maintain team member’s resumes (including their project experience) and project description sheets.

• Coordinate photography/videography of current and completed projects.

• Update and maintain company website, company information, lists, and associated databases.

• Organize production of branded items such as stationery and merchandise.

• Assist with organization of company events and conferences.

• Support preparation and onboarding for new hires (as required).

• Perform general administrative tasks (as required).

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

On top of your passion to work in a growing business full of professionals in the trade, here’s what we’re looking for:

• 1-3 years of work experience on proposal creation and management.

• Experience in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction industry is an asset.

• Certificate, Diploma, or University Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business an asset.

• Top-notch writing and editing skills are required.

• Strong computer skills with an aptitude for learning new programs.

• Advanced skills with a variety of design tools for both print and digital mediums, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva etc.

• Multimedia savvy with experience with video editing programs such as After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro an asset.

• Creative with a strong visual eye; adept at employing the nuances of colour, layout, imagery, and typography in service of a brand.

With more exciting projects taking shape and our team continuing to grow, it’s time for a new space to match our momentum! By late spring/early summer of 2025, ETRO will be moving into a brand-new head office in Vancouver near Hastings and Nanaimo. Currently under construction by our talented team, this state-of-the-art space will feature modern offices and fantastic amenities designed for the ETRO crew.:
