- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs or replacements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and repair procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members in a dealership environment to enhance workflow efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not required.
- Experience using diagnostic equipment and software is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
