**General Laborer -**Capable, Reliable and Teachable - This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards. The Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Candidate should be exposed to a variety of trades and be adaptable and willing to learn new skills. You will work in all of our divisions- Emergency, Renovations, Handyman, Environmental, commercial and basements.

Duties and Jobs

• Knowledge of a variety of trades including plumbing, carpentry and electrical
• Assist in completion of unit flips and restores
• General maintenance skills
• Completing smaller repairs or working as part of a team on larger renovations
• Operate hand tools and power equipment as needed for various tasks.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to meet project goals.
• Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
• Good communication skills – able to work with both customers and office team members
• Must have your own basic tools and phone
• Basic technical /computer skills
• Clean driver's record and valid driver’s license
• Commitment to health and safety requirements
• Be capable of lifting heavy objects daily- More than 50lb and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
• A positive, 'can-do" attitude
• IICRC Certification will be preferred and eventually required
• Ability to work a limited rotation of after hours and "on call" shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
