Your area of focus.

The Sr. Digital Performance Manager is responsible for leading our Media Buyer Team and overseeing the strategic execution and optimization of digital marketing initiatives. This role combines hands-on performance marketing expertise with team leadership, strategic planning, and performance reporting. You’d be responsible for overseeing a multi-million dollar digital advertising budget across Google Ads, Meta Ads and other digital ad networks. Working closely with the VP and Sr Director of Marketing, you’ll translate business goals into actionable digital strategies that drive traffic and opportunities to our network of franchised automotive dealerships.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset, capable of managing a high-performing team, driving marketing performance, and delivering meaningful insights to stakeholders.

What drives your day-to-day?

  • Team Leadership and Management
  • Lead and manage the Media Buyer Team, providing coaching, support, and performance feedback.
  • Conduct regular account audits to ensure adherence to best practices and optimal campaign performance.
  • Manage cross-functional projects that align with the broader digital marketing strategy, ensuring timely delivery and strategic alignment.
  • Monitor weekly campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities or required changes.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Digital Marketing Strategy
  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies to drive traffic and generate leads for automotive dealerships.
  • Utilize expert knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, and other digital platforms to guide strategic decisions.
  • Align digital efforts with broader business goals, ensuring campaigns support dealership-level objectives.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies—particularly within the automotive sector.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation to keep digital performance ahead of the competition.
  • Promote ongoing learning and professional development within the team.
  • Performance Reporting & Optimization
  • Analyze key performance metrics across platforms and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level reports to Marketing and Dealership Leaders.
  • Recommend data-driven adjustments to strategy based on campaign performance and market trends.

What are the must-haves…

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, GA4, and internet lead generation.
  • 2–4 years of experience managing or leading a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience creating executive reports and presenting campaign insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in the automotive industry or within dealership marketing tech stacks and ASC events.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, GTM, or Looker Studio.
