Job Title: Junior Financial Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (1-2x per week in office)
Duration: 12 months
Contract Type: T4 only
Pay Rate: $32.27 • $34.48/Hour
Role Mandate:
-
This group focuses on business enablement and management of portfolio, workforce, and supplier contracts. The team provides horizontal support function as well as reporting.
Role Responsibilities:
-
Ensuring reports & data pulls are complete, timely, and accurate.

Collaborating with different groups to extract, clean and transform data from multiple systems into reporting objects for analysis.

Identifying, diagnosing, and solving problems with both data and visualizations.
-
Supporting development and execution of strategic analytics & reporting initiatives.
-
Documenting and maintaining operational procedures, design solutions and processes relating to analytical and reporting processes.

Working independently on a range of complex tasks.

Managing inquiries from teams about reports.

Producing standard month end/mid-month portfolio reports/dashboards/analysis, identifying key problem areas

Extracting Data

Pulling reports from Clarity and other systems

Feed reports into PowerBI
Must Have Skills:

Analysis/problem solving

Independence and accountability/taking initiative

Attentive to deadlines

Post-secondary education in related field (i.e. business or math)

1-2 years of experience working in an office

Quick learner
-
Communication/people skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Power BI experience
- Microsoft office experience (excel, powerpoint, word)
- Financial industry experience
