The Position: Senior Accountant

Job Description:

Brignall Equipment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to execute financial operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will execute end-to-end accounting processes, including financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash flow management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on accounting expertise with strategic financial oversight in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Wage: $40.00-$50.00 / Experience Dependent

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am-4:30pm

As our Senior Accountant, you'll be responsible for key financial operations, including:

• Executing and managing all accounting and bookkeeping operations, financial record-keeping, and reporting using accounting software and Microsoft Suite platform
• Providing exceptional customer service through effective accounts management, professional communication, and detailed reporting while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring timely collections
• Processing and managing accounts payable/receivable processes and tax obligations including GST
• Conducting bank reconciliations and cash flow management
• Preparing month and year end entries and reconciliation
• Producing internal financial statements and reports for CEO
• Processing bank deposits, and managing internal databases and spreadsheets
• Preparing detailed weekly reporting on customer service updates, financial deadlines and progress, account reconciliation progress, and cash flow management
• Supporting budget planning and forecasting activities

Your Qualifications Include:

• You have completed post-secondary in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• You have 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
