About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Specialist, Paid Media to join our client's dynamic digital media team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the execution, optimization, and measurement of digital media campaigns, primarily focusing on paid social channels. You'll work collaboratively with internal marketing teams and external agencies to contribute to holistic media strategies and drive impactful results.
This is a 12 month contract which requires the talent to work onsite at our client's office in downtown Toronto on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management & Execution: Lead the end-to-end setup, launch, and ongoing optimization of paid media campaigns, with a strong emphasis on paid social, across multiple lines of business.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights, strategic recommendations, and drive continuous improvement for digital programs. This includes regular pacing, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for platform and execution-based activities, forging strong relationships with various internal teams and external partners. Effectively synthesize data, results, and recommendations to communicate key messages to appropriate audiences.
- Strategic Contribution: Leverage your expertise in industry trends, competitive landscapes, and performance metrics to provide strategic direction and enhance digital programs to meet business objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues, seeking innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and drive sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven Paid Media Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and optimizing paid media campaigns, particularly in paid social.
- KPI Monitoring & Reporting: Demonstrated strong ability to define, track, and analyze KPIs, providing actionable insights to meet business objectives ( minimum 3 years experience ).
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners ( minimum 3 years experience ).
- Platform Proficiency: Working knowledge or certification in at least two of the following platforms: SA360, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit Ads, Snapchat, LinkedIn, DV360, Amazon ( minimum 3 years experience ).
- Analytical & Digital Savvy: Highly detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving digital tools and trends ( minimum 3 years experience ).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Experience within the financial services or wealth management industry.
- Ability to identify emerging trends, competitive insights, and innovative solutions to enhance campaign performance.
- Familiarity with advanced reporting tools and emerging platforms.
- Experience working across various digital channels or mentoring team members.
