Position Details
What You Will Do:
In this role, you will handle battery and damage complaints and inquiries that are assigned to the department from our Members. You will coordinate and perform an investigation that will assist in determining liability that may have been caused during the towing process. You will facilitate a resolution between all parties to ensure fairness. You will follow departmental procedures and SOP’s and work within the established time frames when processing new claims. You will ensure timely and effective communicate throughout the end-to-end process with both Members and tow facilities to obtain/provide updates and close the file. As part of your file management, you will ensure all photos, videos, estimates, invoices and other documentation is included and meets departmental guidelines.
Who You Are:
The successful candidate will have:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma
- Valid G driver’s license to be able to travel within Ontario to tow providers locations from time to time
- Minimum of two years’ experience resolving customer complaints
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills with a strong ability to negotiate resolutions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability of capturing all aspects of a file using a systematic approach
- Preference will be given to candidates who have technical background or experience in the automotive industry
