About the role

Description: The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for a variety of medication related duties including the ordering, preparation, packaging, shipping, distribution and maintenance of controlled medication inventories. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA General Support Services Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: High School diploma or recognized equivalent required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be proficient with technology and ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous pharmacy experience. Experience with Connect Care/Epic. Completion of a Pharmacy Assistant course is preferred.
