Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer support, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to inquiries.
- Source and research parts and other components using internal and external resources and ensure part accuracy
- Assist customers with technical questions related to power generation products and services.
- Build out quotes, process orders, and manage contracts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Inventory management for assigned parts (i.e. stock items, nonstock items, consumables, capital equipment)
- Subject to approval, recommend and implement min-max levels and/or bulk buying practices by analyzing forecast and sales history
- Maintain inventory including counting, organizing, and picking
- Generate and analyze material planning, forecasting, and availability reports
Desired Skill, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Electrical and/or mechanical aptitude - understanding of power generation is a plus!
- Experience with automotive parts, industrial engines or generators. Working knowledge of the Parts associated with engines or generators
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in sales, customer support, or a related technical role is a plus.
- Can physically lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly; can work while standing for up to 8 hours and/or remain seated for up to 8 hours.
- Positive attitude. Team player with excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong working relationships.
- Willingness and ability to adapt to change
- Computer proficiency with a thorough knowledge of MS Office and social media tools (texting, web conferencing, etc.)
