Position Overview The Brand Advocate Program allows Home Depot’s largest supplier partners to invest in having an assigned Analyst who works with that vendor to optimize their eCommerce and interconnected experience with Home Depot Canada.

Key Responsibilities As a Sr. Brand Advocate (BA) Analyst, you will work with a number of top tier vendor partners and numerous internal cross-functional teams to develop and implement a data-driven content strategy. The Sr. Analyst requires strong analytical expertise and ecommerce knowledge that will help you deliver multiple high-impact projects. The Sr. Analyst role has 3 key elements:

Business Analyst with Strategic Mindset

You will leverage your eCommerce expertise and aptitude for data analytics to create dashboards and run reports to help your top tier vendor(s) to make strategic data-driven decisions about their business.

The key here is using the data to tell a clear and concise story to the vendor and to provide actionable insights.

You will lead and deliver at least two or more high-impact, net new analytics projects per year as well as act as a subject matter expert on a particular tool or process.

Account Management

As the dedicated point of contact for your assigned vendor(s), you will be responsible for building strong relationships and driving strategic decisions.

You will work with your vendor(s) and internal teams to prioritize eCommerce projects including new product onboarding, content enrichment, deep-dive analysis and others.

You will participate in various strategic planning meetings with cross-functional teams and merchandising.

Product Assortment Management

As part of product assortment management, you will create tickets, follow-up on project status with internal teams and occasionally help to populate forms for back-end data quality.

Skills Aptitude for Data Analytics & eCommerce Expertise

Strong business acumen and analytical skills with a solutions-based mindset.

Understanding of key eCommerce metrics and best practices.

Intermediate to advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills.

Experience with Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Looker and similar analytics tools is an asset.

Clear, Concise and Persuasive Communication

Showcase ability to influence partners through strong communication, engagement, strategic plans, vision and purpose.

Strong ability to communicate effectively via charts and graphs.

Confident presenting to larger groups (20+ attendees) including senior-level executives.

Engaging storyteller with ability to navigate difficult conversations.

Minimum Education University/College degree in a related area of study, or equivalent experience

Minimum Years Of Work Experience Brand Advocate Program experience preferred

3-5 Years ECommerce Experience Required Data and analytics experience required

Vendor Facing Experience Preferred eCommerce expertise and online merchandising best practices

Strong aptitude for presenting eCommerce and sales data

Minimum Leadership Experience Not required

Certifications None

Other Requirements/Assets Experience with Looker, Tableau, Adobe Analytics an asset

Advanced capability in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook an asset
