We’re looking for an Accounting Manager who is confident leading productive conversations, solving problems in real time, and keeping ensuring we have alignment. You will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, guide a team of accounting professionals, and make sure the numbers are accurate, entered in a timely manner, and understood.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Advise with Confidence
- Build strong relationships across the business and provide clear financial guidance
- Deliver expert insights that shape strategic conversations and operational decisions
- Lead the Team
- Foster a supportive, high-performance culture within your team
- Supervise and develop accounting staff, driving accountability and collaboration
- Train new hires and set clear expectations for success
- Own the Numbers
- Lead accounting operations, ensuring all transactions are accurate and compliant
- Prepare, review, and deliver financial statements that decision-makers trust
- Manage reconciliations, payables, receivables, and month-end close
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration
- Protect the Integrity
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting systems
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, ASPE, tax laws, and payroll regulations
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- CPA designation and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years in progressive accounting roles, including 2+ years in leadership
- Deep understanding of GAAP, ASPE, and payroll compliance
- Proficiency in accounting systems — Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar
- Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills

Vitalus is a global brand providing specialized dairy ingredients for use in a wide variety of food and beverage applications. We have grown from a small family owned business to a trusted supplier of ingredients for large scale processor and top- tier brands. We source milk from regional farms. Artificial growth hormones, like rbST, are not permitted and controlled measures are in place to prevent antibiotics from entering the milk supply. All production facilities meet the highest quality Food Safety Standards (FSSC22000) and all of our ingredients are Kosher and Halal certified.
