We’re seeking a Senior Manager of Finance to help lead our financial function with integrity, strategy, and operational know-how. You’ll report directly to the CEO and play a key role in managing financial systems, streamlining operations, and ensuring fiscal responsibility as we scale.
As our Senior Manager of Finance , you will:
- Lead Financial Operations: Manage full-cycle accounting, budgets, cash flow, vendor payments, and government reporting across all business entities
- Drive Financial Clarity: Analyze financial statements, oversee reporting, and provide actionable insights to guide decision-making
- Support Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, franchising, site leads, and construction) to maintain strong fiscal controls and optimized processes
- Ensure Compliance: Oversee audits, tax filings, and grant reporting while ensuring alignment with financial best practices
- Enhance Internal Systems: Improve SOPs, automate workflows, and manage internal accountability within the finance function
Responsibilities
- Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and financial reporting across SimplySmart and OsteoStrong locations
- Maintain vendor and government grant documentation and payment processes
- Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors for year-end filings and audit preparation
- Refine financial systems and procedures to support accurate, real-time reporting
- Work cross-functionally with operations, HR, and franchising teams to support business initiatives
- Prepare financial dashboards and reports for monthly and quarterly leadership meetings
- Ensure timely government funding submissions and reporting (e.g. CWELCC, wage grants)
Qualifications
- CPA designation (required)
- 4–6 years of experience in financial management, preferably in multi-location or multi-entity businesses
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and cloud-based financial tools
- Excellent organizational skills with a detail-oriented and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
- Experience working in education, wellness, franchising, or government-funded environments is a plus
- A self-starter mindset with a natural drive for systems, clarity, and continuous improvement
