About the role
Join a growing real estate development company focused on delivering high-quality residential, industrial, hotel, and retail projects while building your career in a collaborative, values driven environment.
Your New Employer
Based in Vancouver, our client is a growing real estate group steadily expanding its footprint across residential, rental, hotel, and mixed-use projects throughout Metro Vancouver. Backed by experienced leadership and a long-term view of value creation, the company is known for its transparent, team-oriented culture.
With a commitment to doing business the right way, treating people fairly, setting high expectations, and fostering a supportive work environment, this is a rare opportunity to join a company at an early growth stage and play a meaningful role in shaping its future.
Your New Role
As a Corporate and IPP Accountant, you’ll report directly to the Finance Manager and take on responsibilities across both corporate accounting and property management accounting for a small portfolio of income-producing properties. This is a hands-on role with meaningful exposure to the full accounting cycle and room to grow into development accounting as the company scales. You’ll be responsible for processing rent and expense transactions, preparing annual budgets and CAM reconciliations, and maintaining accurate lease and tenant schedules.
On the corporate side, you’ll manage full-cycle accounting for holding and management entities, oversee accounts payable, handle monthly invoicing and credit card reconciliations, and process semi-monthly payroll. You’ll also assist with deposits, payments, cash calls, tax filings, budget preparation, and various ad hoc reporting and compliance tasks.
What Sets You Apart
You bring at least two years of experience in corporate or property management accounting, and a solid foundation in accounting principles. You may not have all the answers, but you’re motivated, eager to learn, and ready to roll up your sleeves. You take ownership of your work, ask the right questions, and thrive in environments where you can build meaningful relationships with a close-knit team.
Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or Yardi is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset are essential. A background in payroll processing and knowledge of employment standards will serve you well.
What You Can Expect
You’ll work from one of Vancouver’s newest AAA towers in a premium downtown location and be surrounded by leaders who are genuinely invested in your professional development. The company offers competitive compensation, diverse exposure across asset classes, and the kind of culture where your work is both valued and visible. If you’re looking for the next step in your accounting career within real estate, this is an opportunity to grow with a company that’s building thoughtfully and doing it the right way.
