About Us:
Sushi Inn is a beloved, family-friendly Japanese restaurant serving authentic and delicious sushi, sashimi, and traditional Japanese dishes. We're looking to expand our talented kitchen team with dedicated and passionate individuals who share our love for sushi and high-quality cooking.

Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled Sushi and Wok Chef to join our team. As a member of the Sushi Inn team, you'll be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of sushi dishes, cooking other Japanese delicacies, and ensuring an exceptional culinary experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Sushi Chef:
  • Prepare and create a variety of sushi and sashimi dishes to perfection.
  • Ensure all sushi ingredients are fresh and stored properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi station.
  • Work closely with the team to create new menu items and specials.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Wok Chef:
  • Prepare traditional Japanese dishes, including appetizers, soups, tempuras and grilled items.
  • Follow food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a sushi chef or Wok chef in a Japanese restaurant is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks efficiently.
