Role and Responsibilities:
As an In-Person Tutor, you will:

• Provide individualized, one-on-one tutoring sessions in students' homes or online.
• Assist students with homework, create lesson plans, and meet various educational needs.
• Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s unique requirements.
• Work closely with students to help them achieve academic success and reach their full potential.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Certified or retired teachers, student teachers, educational assistants, or university/college students (minimum 2nd year), graduates, or post-graduates.
• Minimum commitment of 3.75 hours per week.
• Access to a vehicle (90% of our students require in-person sessions).
• Recent Police Information Check.
• Evening and/or weekend availability.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the Alberta Curriculum for the subjects you wish to teach.
• Commitment to work with students for the entire academic year (until June 2025), with preference for candidates seeking long-term opportunities.
