Be our next Senior Design Coordinator
EXP is currently searching for a Senior Design Coordinator to work in our Toronto, ON office.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Coordinate the activities of technical staff from project award through project completion
- Apply knowledge of engineering techniques across multiple technical functions
- Coordinate activities concerned with technical development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design issues
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to address technical issues within project time and budget
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external clients or partners
- Ensure design consistency and quality across all outputs, adhering to corporate standards and contractual requirements
- Manage project schedules, track progress, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track
- Review and provide feedback on multi-disciplinary design work to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations
- Maintain documentation, including tracking, timelines, and status reports Support the development and implementation of design processes and best practices
What a day at EXP has in store for you

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field

3-5 years of experience in design coordination or project management role

Strong understanding of design principles, processes, and tools

Demonstrate experience in the delivery of major infrastructure projects; experience with P3 (Public-Private Partnerships) and Design-Build (DB) models is a strong asset

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to interact well with others as well as develop and contribute to high quality technical and professional deliverables on projects and proposals Attention to detail, highly organized, self-starter
