Position Overview
AtlantiCann Medical Inc. (AMI) is currently seeking a Cultivation Technician. The Cultivation technician assists leadership with the day-to-day maintenance of the cannabis production facility. The candidate must accurately and efficiently complete the day-to-day production and plant maintenance task requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Sanitizing Propagation, Vegetative, and Flowering Rooms
- Plant Maintenance
- Cloning
- Follow plant protocols and procedures for propagation, veg, and flowering
- Trellising
- Pruning & Canopy Management
- Waste Removal /Shredding
- Data recording and presenting information to leadership
- Follow Health Canada, ICANNG.A.P standards, and EU GMP protocols.
- Help maintain the highest standard of cannabis cultivation.
Qualifications
- Must be 19+ years old
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Post Secondary Education is considered an asset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic Math Skills
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Can work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays if necessary.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Comfortable with exposure to allergens, chemicals, dust, odours, extreme temperatures, bright lights and a variety of environmental conditions
- Able to lift, push and pull 35 pounds
- Able to bend, squat or stand for extended periods of time
