Seguin Morris is seeking a Professional Engineer to join our dynamic team in shaping Canada's telecommunications infrastructure. If you are a licensed engineer in Quebec with a solid foundation in structural steel design and a passion for telecommunications, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As part of our Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with Drafters and Site Inspectors to design and evaluate telecommunications structures, including all types of communication towers and rooftop installations used across Canada. Whether you're leading the original design of new towers and foundations or analyzing the integrity of existing structures, you will serve as the Engineer of Record, supported by a skilled and collaborative team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the structural design and analysis of communication towers and rooftop installations
- Ensure compliance with Canadian industry standards and engineering best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver cost-effective, client-centered solutions
- Review and sign off on engineering drawings and reports
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the province of Quebec and in good standing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically structural steel design
- Knowledge of Canadian telecommunications tower standards and industry practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to complete an initial in-person training period at our Kitchener, Ontario office

We also have a Services Division to help you with much more than just 24/7 emergency service calls. We manage equipment upgrades and perform ongoing maintenance, including wire integrity tests and end-of-lifecycle analysis. We can even supply of new or warrantied refurbished parts.
Our team can handle everything from electrical shut-downs, industrial hardware programming and control systems integration to engineering support and turnkey design-build projects.
