Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Catering Manager to join our team at Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery for our guests while contributing to the hotel's reputation as a top event venue.
Responsibilities
- Manage all catering operations, including planning, execution, and post-event evaluations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create diverse and appealing menu options.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality service at competitive prices.
- Oversee event logistics, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly on the day of the event.
- Monitor budgetary compliance and manage catering expenses effectively.
- Train and supervise catering staff to provide outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in catering management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors.
- Exceptional customer service abilities to enhance guest experiences.
- Familiarity with catering software or tools such as Salesforce is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
